CJC-1295 With DAC (CJC-1295 DAC) is a stimulator of the growth hormone production consisting of 30 amino acids. CJC-1295 DAC binds to plasma proteins (albumins) that results to a significant increase of the action duration due to addition of lysine linked to the non-peptide molecule of the DAC (Drug Affinity Complex). The half-life is about 2 weeks. CJC-1295 DAC has a direct impact on the growth hormone release by the pituitary gland.

CJC-1295 DAC affects the nuclei in the anterior part of the pituitary gland and stimulates the growth hormone secretion mainly by means of the cAMP dependent pathway. The substance binds to the GHRH receptors, referring to the group of G-protein connected receptors.
