The main difference of Peg Ipamorelin from the usual Ipamorelin is in the duration of action. Due to the addition of the Peg-element, a half-life of the substance extends up to 7 days. Injections of the drug are carried out once in 2 days.

Peg Ipamorelin is a peptide hormone of the GHRP group of a new generation having a strong effect on the secretion of the growth hormone than peptides of the previous generation (GHRP-2 and GHRP-6) that also doesn’t cause an increased appetite (as GHRP-2) and doesn’t increase the blood levels of prolactin and cortisol, in contrast to peptides of the previous generation when taking them at high dosages.

Releasing the growth hormone is associated with a suppression of somatostatin (a hormone inhibiting the GH secretion) and a direct stimulation of releasing the growth hormone from the anterior part of the pituitary gland, as in the case of GHRP-6.

Peg Ipamorelin has a high anabolic index and is the most powerful drug of the GHRP group.
